1) Either you do not use opiates for 72 or more hours (depending on metabolism),
2) Get a prescription from a physician about once a year to cover your butt for as needed use, or
3) Some states require a mere signature for cough syrup with codeine/hydrocodone that you could report using for a bad cough.
Please note: Some tests are getting more sensitive and can distinquish between street drugs and pharmaceuticals so make sure the Tylenol and/or cough syrup ingredients are on board before you test.
