First you have to find out the code for your TV. It should be a 3 number code and you can find it on the internet.

Steps to figure out how to find out what your code is

If you need to find the three digit code for your TV, VCR or Cable Box after the device is set up, use the following procedure.

The example given is for a unit which had been programmed to control a TV set. Please substitute CABLE or VCR in place of TV to retrieve codes for other devices.

1. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button until the indicator light lights. Then release the CODE SEARCH button.

2. Press and release the TV button. (The indicator light will blink once and remain lit).

3. Press and release the CODE SEARCH button. The indicator light will turn off.

4. Starting with 0 on the keypad, start pressing the number buttons in order (0-9) until the indicator light blinks.

5. When the indicator light blinks, that is the number for the first digit of the code.

Repeat step 4 to obtain second and third digit of the code.

PROGRAMMING YOUR REMOTE TO YOUR TV

1. Once you know your code you have to press and hold code search until the light lights up.

2. Then let go and then press the tv button. It should blink once then stay lit up.

3. Type code it should turn the light off after all the numbers are typed

4. You have to press and hold the code search button again till the light lights up then let go when it does.

5. Press the tv button again then press the on/off button as many times as you need till it turns off (it only took me three times).

6. As soon as it turnes off the TV push it again and if it doesnt work try doing steps 1-5 again but if it turns it off again then press the power button on your TV then press the power button on your remote. It should turn it off and then your remote should be working. If not try to do 1-6 again.
