Remove the glove compartment with just a few screws its pretty simple. Once you do that you will see the passenger airbag because its pretty big. You will look up into the glove compartment and find four screws. Take them out unplug two wires and your done. Just make sure the battery cable is unplug…ed before you begin. Its a simple job I did it myself and it only took 45 minutes to take out and replace. I just cant find the airbag module, if you know how email me at firstname.lastname@example.org (MORE)

It is located on the left side between the left front wheel and front of the vehicle behind the plastic fender panel. To remove or access the battery, first, remove the negative batteriy cable under the hood located on the left wheel well, then block the rear wheels, raise the front left wheel, remo…ve the left front wheel(you can access the battery without removing the wheel, but much easier by removing it), now there are two Phillips head screws on the fender well and three plastic push pins that need to be removed to remove the cover panel. The first thing I'd recommend is to check the transmission fluid level to make sure it isn't OVER FULL. My son, bless his heart, was using my 2005 Sebring, and checked the transmission fluid, without the motor running with the car in Park. He saw that the fluid level was low and put more fluid in it…. However, to properly check the transmission fluid level, on an automatic, the car has to be running and in Park. This way, will raise the fluid level on the stick to the correct reading. When my son put the extra fluid in it, now my level reads way too full when running. I have to drain it out, cause it leaks out all over the place when the car is parked in the driveway. Just a thought that might save you a very expensive trip to the mechanic. If you take it into a shop, no matter what the problem, they'll be sure to "find" all sorts of scarey things wrong with your transmission. The Chrysler dealer here did mine and told me my transmission was shot and only had about 5,000 miles left on it at the most. I checked the fluid the right way myself and have over 25,000 on the "shot transmission" and still running strong. (MORE)
\nThe solenoid pack is on the front of the transmission body next to the bell housing. Two fluid cooler hoses will be exiting the trans near by.
I have a 2001 sebring and they tend to place the battery in the front driver fender area. You have to remove the front driver tire, then remove (pry or unscrew) the bolts that hold the fender shield in place. It's most likely there in the fender/ bumper area. chilton's guides are pretty good referen…ce too. . \nThe battery is located in the driver side lower fender well behind the wheel well splash guard. I have the same vehicle and have been doing my own oil changes since I bought the car. It's really easy, you just need about 30 mins free time. First, a few sticky points... The oil filter is mounted VERY close to one of the oxygen sensors. I have found the only mainstream filter that screws on …without any removal of the sensor is the FRAM brand. Mobil 1, nope, Bosch, nope... Also, the engine in your car is quite sensitive to maintenance done "on the cheap." I switched my oil changes to Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 5W-30 and the car runs WAY better. Less tappet clatter on cold starts, better oil pressure throughout oil life... the works. It's an extra few bucks that goes a long way. You'll need 5 quarts of oil and the filter - Roughly $30 in 2009 money. The oil change itself is easy as pie. Pop the hood and remove the oil cap. Lay down next to the passenger front wheel and stick your head against the front bumper. The oil pan is the first bowl shaped thing you can see... with a round indentation right in the middle. On the back, is the drain plug. It measures 17mm and should be replaced every few years so you have a new gasket on it. Remove it and allow the oil to drain. Next, moving towards the front, is the filter - sitting above the oxygen sensor in the exhaust header pipe. Unscrew by hand or use a filter wrench. Be gentle lowering it out the car - and clean up any oil that spills out onto the exhaust parts. While the main drain is still dripping, it's a good idea to check the filter to make sure the gasket came off and isn't stuck to the filter housing on the engine. Replace the drain plug on the oil pan. Tighten it up securely as you don't want to lose it going down the highway! But remember, not so tight that you can't get it back off in 3 or 4 months... Pre-fill the filter with about half a quart of fresh oil. Also put a bead of oil on the gasket. Screw on the filter, being careful not to cross thread. Tighten down to the filter manufacturers instructions (usually 3/4 to 1 full turn after the filter touches the housing/bracket. Put four quarts into the oil fill hole on top of the engine. Put the cap on and start the engine. The oil pressure light will go out right away, then the gauge will bounce up a few seconds later. Don't be alarmed if it takes a few seconds - it's just the filter filling up with new, nice oil. After a minute or so, park the car on a level surface and shut it off. Wait 5 mins and check the dipstick. The level should be right around the upper indent on the stick. Congrats, you just changed your oil! (MORE)

depends on if its your CD/casset player, or it could be your speakers that are blown try putting a aftermarket CD player in with a wiring kit if that doesn't work replace the speakers but check your fuse first
Most Chrysler dealers have key machines. Your key most likely has a "chip" that requires programming.
unless you have the valet key the one key should unlock everything.. unless someone had your locks redone by a cheap locksmith or repair shop... there is a such thing as a valet key, which allows them to unlock your doors and start your car but will not unlock your glovebox or center console box.
You have to go to the dealership to have your keyless remote reprogrammed. They have a scan tool to tell the computer that you are using a new key fob. I just did it to my 1997 sebring. I knew the service manager, so he let me borrow it, it took me about 15 minutes, most will do it for a small fee, …some will do it as a courtesy. (MORE)

2.5L V6 it is under the housing that the lower radiator hose hooks to on the engine.
It is behind the alternator on the side of the engine. It is pretty tough to get to Where the lower hose attaches.
It depends on how you are wanting to tow it. If you tow it fourwheels on the ground, you will destroy the transmission so the keyposition doesn't matter. The key would need to be one notch forwardto unlock the steering.
Make sure all electrical components of the car are turned off and receiving no power such as lights radio etc remove the wire cords on the the battery terminal the red wire is positive the black is negative do not let them touch remove them by loosening the nut at the terminal and pull them upright …and away from the battery cell once this is done replace it with the new cell be sure to remove any objects that might secure the battery cell in place, remember there is a positive and negative just like a tv remote + and - re secure all wire cords by re tightening the nuts and securing devices that holds the cell in place (MORE)
