Although not 100% necessary, its easy to do and will save you a little aggrevation, so unplug the (driver's-side) headlight and remove. Remove the battery. Remove the plate that the battery sits on - the wishy-washer tank is under the battery platform. There are three (maybe four) screws that secure the tank to the truck body.
