The easiest way is to raise the left front of the car, place a jack stand under the frame, then remove the left front wheel. In the front of the wheel well, between the front headlight, there is a plastic cover that is held in with plastic push pins and Phillips head screws around the fender. Remove all the pins and screws and remove the panel to expose the battery. The battery may have a heater pad around it. To remove the battery, first remove the negative cable on the connector under the hood and on the left front of the shock absorber housing. Now, go to the battery and loosen the two hold down nuts on top of the center top of the battery holder, then remove the negative cable first. This will cause the negative cable to be free and fall out. Now, remove the positive cable from the battery and your battery should be ready to come out.
