On a 1999 Lincoln continental the thermostat is located by following the lower radiator hose from the radiator to the engine. It is easily accessible from underneath on the front passenger side. Remove the upper and lower radiator hoses and transmission lines from the radiator. Remove the fan shroud and the upper and lower bolts. Raise the radiator up and out.
Drain or petcock should be a the lower of rear of radiator or remove lower radiator hose
Petcock on bottom or radiator or remove lower hose.
Remove the plug at the bottom or the rear of the radiator or remove the lower radiator hose
Remove the lower radiator hose.
Not to hard. Take off front black cover. Take off top radiator hose. Remove cooling fans. remove front air bag sensor. remove lower radiator hosei Remove upper and lower cooling lines on both sides of radiator Remove 4 top radiator cover bolts. Remove radiator
Remove fan shroud Drain radiator Remove upper and lower radiator hoses Remove upper mounting bolts Lift radiator out of lower support cradle
At the bottom, or rear fo the radiator or remove lower radiator hose.
Open the petcock or remove the lower radiator hose from the radiator.
Normally on the bottom of the radiator. If none is there then remove the lower radiator hose to drain the radiator.
