I had a century with the 3.8 engine..the manual said to discharge the air conditioning and all that jazz...bla,bla!The dealer did it in 3 hrs, and at that time it cost $300. That was with a new Delco starter. I had 50,000 miles on the clock at the time. The fastest way to do it was to drop the whole cradle with engine, then they replaced the starter with plenty of clearence. There is probably a better way , now , but it wasn't that bad .
