u need a stereo pulling tool. you can get it at any auto parts store just ask and they will tell what kind to buy. there should be two holes on either side of the stereo u just insert the tool, and pull the stereo out. You don't need a stereo puller if you have a thick wire hanger. Cut the straight parts of the hanger with snips into 2 lengths, each about 6 inches long. Bend each into a "U" shape so that both ends will fit into the holes on the stereo. Insert both "U's" into the four holes on either side of the stereo and simultaneously pull each to the side so that the wire will compress the spring locks that hold the stereo in place. Once you have a good grip with each U against the stereo, slowly start pulling it out while keeping the pressure on. You may have to wiggle it a bit to get it started. Save the ten bucks a stereo puller will cost.

After the mechanism is released, you can pull the stereo forward and out of the dash. Finally, you need to remove all the connectors and the antenna.

its actually very easy just go and purchase these two things that look like a U and they are called BIN tools you can find them at Canadian tire or an automotive store and you stick them both in on both sides of the stereo and push towards each other this unlocks the stereo and you can pull it right out :)
