It's a triangular hole in the roof and a triangular tab on the visor shaft. You have to push the visor in and give it a 1/6th turn. there's a spring on the shaft, so it takes a fairly hefty push.
the sun visor has a plug in wire attached to it for the mirror light so be careful how far you pull just get a good grip and pull it out of roof you will have to replace the plastic triangle plug that holds it in the roof about 12 dollars a dealer item
