On some cars you open the hood, and the light socket will be right on the inside behind the fixture itself. A quarter turn counter clockwise and pull will remove the socket. Then push in while turning a quarter turn counter clockwise again will release the bulb, or on newer ones, you just pull them out as they are the spade type. On some cars you will have screws holding the lens assembly in, and it would have to be removed to replace the bulb. Then still on others, you would reach underneath the bumper.
First, pop the hood. Remove the black radiator cover by prying up the 5 or 6 plastic pins holding it down or just prying up the ones that let you access the light you need to change. Before you unscrew the two bolts that hold the assembly take a medium to large straight screwdriver and put it a space between the frame and the plastic assembly (the screwdriver will be vertical) and pry out the plastic pin that holds the two (light and turn signal assemblys apart...(you do this by pushing the pin of the turn signal through the headlamp assembly. Then unscrew the two bolts holding down the headlight assembly. You should be able to maneuver the headlight/corner light assembly out now (they are disconnected). Twist the light socket from the housing and replace the bulb. If it comes out without disconnecting you are fortunate as this took me some 5 hours to figure out by looking on the web. Best of LUCK.
I found your question while trying to find the same answer for myself. This was my solution. It is not hard to reach the socket. If you haven't changed it as yet. look under the front end and to the side where the light is not working. You should be able to see and locate the standard twist socket for the turn signal light. I fumbled with it for a few seconds and managed to turn the socket and pull it out. There is ample electrical wiring to be able to remove the bulb with ease. When you have pulled out the socket to where you can change the bulb, pull it out, and replace it. Before you replace the socket into its location, try your turn signal to make sure the light is flashing. Then reverse the procedure and replace the light socket by inserting it and turning it into its locking position. This really sound too simple but I couldn't find anything in writing about it.
