∙ 9y agoTo replace an ignition switch on a 2000 Chevy Blazer remove the lower steering column and dash. Locate the ignition switch and pull the end-clip off the main harness. Remove the mounting screws from the ignition cylinder and replace the unit.

∙ 9y agoRemove the retaining ring from the ignition switch. Pull the ignition barrel out. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the ignition. Reverse the process to install the new ignition.
