I have been reading many websites. they all say that to replace the fog lights on this vehicle you have to remove the front bumper. This is true only to the extent of the passenger side of the vehicle. If you are attempting to replace the fog lamps on the driver's side, you can simply remove the air filtration box to perform the operation as it will give you enough room. However, on the passenger side of the vehicle (at least on the 6s version of the vehicle) you will be unable to reach the quick-disconnect socket which is buried too low in the engine compartment to reach any other way. The best thing to do for the fog lamps is to take the vehicle to a Mazda dealership and have them replace the fog lamp for you.

OK first, I just replaced the driver's side on my 02 Milly (still sweating) and it is simple now that I know what to expect. It may bit a bit different on the earlier models but on mine... 1st: Jack the car up a few inches to get my big head under it then a few more inches for good measure (pun intended). 2nd: Remove the four 8mm bolts holding the plastic that hides everything and bend it back. Then cough as the dirt falls onto your face. 3rd: Change to 10mm racket and find the only bolt holding the assembly in place (hint it's on the bottom facing you). That bolt goes into an 'arm' attached to the light assembly. 4th: Push up and out carefully as not to damage any wiring that it permanently attached to the housing and should not be removed. 5th: With assembly in hand (yes, there is actually enough wire to hold it suspended) there are two (or more depending on who you listen to) Phillips head screws to remove to expose bulb. 6th: Push down retaining pin and out comes the burnt bulb. Sure don't touch the new bulb... yada yada, but if you do just wipe off any body oil, dust, rust, sweat and tears off it before reassembly. 7th: TEST the bulb with it seated in the bumper before wiggling back into place. A firm push of the lens will line the 10mm bolt with the only hole it can go back into. 8th: Replace 8mm bolts (if you can find them in the dirt pile) holding the $30,000 (new) plastic and unnecessary flange and viola your done, almost. 9th: Lower car back onto solid ground, put up tools, crank car, test all the lights, high-low, turn, hazard... don't be the one I have to tell your missing a bulb because I will. Good driving! Daren Connell, 02 Milly 1 1/2 years.

Remove the grill, unscrew the headlamp housing and pull out the headlamps using a screwdriver before the pushing in the clip holding the bulbs to the cables. Locate the bulb that needs replacement, twist the backside of the connector, pull out the spoilt bulb and install a new one before re-assembling the whole bulb set-up back to its original position.

You can access the brake lightbulb from the cargo compartment. Remove the lightbulb connector. Take hold of the lightbulb, push in and turn at the same time. The lightbulb will come out.

You can change the call log by removing the wiring. You will need to remove the retaining nut. The glow plug will come out. Reverse the process to install the new one.
