What would you like to do?
I'm assuming you have a convertible since from what I've read, the sedan bulb replacement is very straightforward. To replace the bulb in a convertible you need to remove the headlight assembly by removing 2 bolts, one near each end of the assembly. These are (I believe) 8mm bolts so don't go removing the larger ones. Once the bolts are out you can remove the assembly. Remove retaining ring, pull bulb assembly out and unplug the bulb. Reverse directions for re-installation.

There are 2 round caps on the rear side of light housing, under the hood. You have to unscrew them. You then should see the light wiring. You have to remove a little metal cl…ip that hold the light bulb in place, unclip and remove light.
I've done this many times. Living in Washington, you find your lights are on a lot in the rain, etc. Pop the hood and you will see the wells where the headlights are located.… It's pretty straight forward, no tools are required, but it is a knuckle buster. In the well you will see either a black or white plastic part that has a wrapped electrical cable coming from the back. The part is a 3" diameter and cylindrical in shape. It appears like it is attached to a sheet metal piece. (and it is) Get a hold of the part with your hands and turn it counter-clockwise. If you can't turn it with your hands get a large vice grip, but dont over squeeze on the vice grips you don't want to break this part. Once you have the part loosened, (about a quarter to an eight of turn will move it out of its locking grooves) just pull it carefully straight out. Be careful the bulb is in this tube. Carefully pull the bulb out. Insert the new bulb, position the tube back in its hole, turn it clockwise and that's it. The one by the battery is a little harder. I have had to remove the battery to take out the piece on a couple of occasions. Good luck.\\
Answer if it's the same as a 98 then all you need to do is find the power cords running to the back of your headlight assembly and turn the attachment left about… a 1/4 turm. That will free up the cable allowing you to remove the bulb. Make sure you don't touch the new bulb with your fingers, the oil from your skin will shorten the life of the bulb. I installed mine using a paper towel but I've seen recommendations to use rubber gloves.
For a 2003 sebring convertible, raise the hood. On top of the metal support frame at the headlight assembly, there are two screws that hold the full head light assembly …to the frame. Remove the two screws. Now the headlight assembly is loose and can be pulled out far enought to remove the lamp. Turn the lamp holder counter closckwise about a half turn or so and remove the lamp. Replace all in the reverse order. Don't touch the new lamp with your bare fingers. Oil from your skin will cause the lamp to turn black.
"Pull the trunk liner? If so, what a poor design! " I just did it yesterday. The tools needed are a flathead screwdriver and pliers. Surprise, pulling the trunk line…r IS what you need to do. When you remove the push pin properly you can reuse it to put the trunk liner back. You should see three plastic wing nuts and the harness connection to the tail light assembly. You need to remove these to take out the assembly. When you do be sure not to remove the other wiring. The socket for the bulb needs to be turned about 60 degrees and it should come right out. Take out the old bulb and put the new one in. The store sold me a packet of dielectric to put on the terminals to help protect them. (It was $1.00 so why not?) Replace the bulb socket in reverse to the way you took it off. Replace the assembly as it was originally in. Put on the wing nuts and reconnect the harness. Replace the liner and you're done.
Open the hood. Standing in front of the car, there are two screws on top of the headlight housing. I believe they are 8mm. When you remove them, the headlight assembly i…s loose and can be moved out far enough to reach the rear connectors on the lamps and bulbs contained in the headlight housing. Grasp the lamp connector at the back of the housing and turn in about 1/4 turn clockwise and remove the lamp. When installing the new lamp, don't touch the new lamp with your bare fingers. The oil from your fingers will cause the lamp to turn dark and shorten the life of the lamp. Install the new lamp and headlight assembly in the reverse order.

How do you replace the headlamp bulb on the driver's side of a 2004 Chrysler Sebring convertible gtc?
Raise the hood and look at the top of the metal cross member that holds the radiator and fans and head light housings. Right next to the very front fender on both sides …of the vehicle and at the top of the head light housings, you will see a small 7mm silver screw and right across from it and on top of the head light housing, you will see a second 7mm silver looking screw. These screws hold the head light housing to the metal cross member. Remove the two screws and the head light assembly is easily pulled forward enough to allow removal of the lamps. The lamps have a locking tab on the plug assembly. Just press the plastic tab and turn the lamp socket counter closckwise to remove it from the lamp housing. Now, the lamp can be pulled from its socket holder. Don't touch the new lamp with your fingers or it will cause the lamp to turn dark and shorten its life. Assemble in the reverse order
Answer go under hood reach down where headlight is turn the light counterclock wise and pull bulb out then twist bulb and it will come out.
Have the same problem. Manual shows removing the whole top part covering the front, but the shops want to remove the bumper and do it that way. If you go to Edmunds.com they h…ave manuals there to download if you are mechanical in nature. Between $60 to $80 to do it by the "professionals"! Needless to say, my bulb is still out!
The headlight bult is consists of the housing, the bulb, and the twist lock base the bulb sits in. For bulb replacement you must twist the base to be vertical and then pull it… out from the housing. Reverse for instalation. becareful not to touch the new bulb as oil on the bulb will cause dreadful effects to the bulb life
Raise the hood and on either side there are two 7mm bolt heads, on top of the metal frame, pointing downward. Remove these two bolts (one long and one short) and this wi…ll release the headlight unit. Pull it out far enough to unplug the bulb and turn the large plastic retainer nut and remove the bulb. The headlight unit may be caught on the plastic cowling and you may have to depress the plastic cowling in order to slide it out. You also may have to release the two plastic retainers that hold the top of the plastic cowling to the metal frame. If you do, pop up the centers and then remove the retainer. Cowling can then be moved enough to get the headlight unit out.
real easy open the hood ,on top of the light are 2 screws 7MM on is about 1" long the other 5" long remove both screws now gently pull the light assembly out by lifting the bo…ttom out side and pulling forward , it will take a little wiggling but it will come out. then remove the black collar around the light by turning loose the ring ,now pull the bulb strait out note how it is sitting in the hole. next do not touch the glass on the new bulb you skin oil will cause it to burn out much faster, insert bulb and reinstall in reverse order ,making sure the assembly is in so the long screw gos through the hole in the bottom on the light assembly tighten bolts and turn on lights TEST !your done .
