You have to pull apart the engine and transmission. If your asking this question, I would belive the best way to replace the cutch is taking it to the repair shop.
You replace it. The oil is in the clutch face and if you use it, the face will come off of the disc. There is no way to clean it.
clutch plate disc and throwout bearing
To replace the clutch disc in a 1991 Acura Legend you must first remove the engine from the vehicle. Loosen the pressure plate by adjusting the bolts and remove. Put the new one where the old one was and tighten the bolts.
You will a lot of special tools as well.. Remove the A/C compressor Remove the A/C clutch disc and hub retaining bolt. Remove the bolt. Remove the A/C clutch disc and hub spacers. Remove the pulley snap ring. Remove the A/C clutch pulley. Remove the A/C clutch field coil.
Easy just bolt it to the fly wheel. hey presto new clutch. I suggest getting a manual that shows how to to this ...its not that difficult of a job but does require an alignment tool to correctly align the clutch disc and pressure plate. Tool is inexpensive... You will need to replace the clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing ,check and maybe replace the pilot bearing and either have the flywheel resurfaced or replaced.
You CAN'T. There's NO adjustment. It has a hydraulic clutch slave cylinder. If the clutch master cylinder is full of fluid and there are NO leaks then it is TIME for a clutch replacement. The clutch disc and pressure plate are worn out. Replace as needed....
hydraulic single disc clutch
clutch pedal free play decreases
If the disc is installed correctly the clutch will engage and disengage smoothly. In most cases if the disc is installed backwards the clutch disc will bind against the flywheel/crankshaft bolts and not release resulting with a clutch that doesn't disengage. More than likely if the disc was installed backwards the disc is now damaged and will need to be replaced.
Replace clutch cable on sportsbike
Should cost 400-600 in labour 300 for the part.
Remove the bolt in the lever perch. For a clutch lever, loosen the cable enough to remove the broken lever and replace the new one. Adjust the clutch cable back and replace the bolt in perch. For the brake (disc brake)) lever, you simply remove the bolt and replace lever, put the bolt back in the perch and you're done. If you have drum brakes, it is the same as the clutch lever routine.
