How do you replace the radiator fan control relay on a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo?

The radiator fan control relay on the 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo is located BEHIND the passenger side front head lamp housing through a cut out square hole. You gain access to the fan motor relay by initially following the instructions for changing a head lamp bulb in the owners manual. Once you detach the head lamp housing from vehicle frame, look through the square hole in the frame. The OEM relay has a square sky blue labling. It's recommended that you apply electrical grease to surface in order to help prevent corrosion, moisture, and enhance conductivity when replacing.

∙ 15y agoBehind the bumper under the headlight on the driver side you will see the relay pull it out and get another one and put it in. Its like a big fuse with 5 connectors.

∙ 14y agoYou have to remove the right headlight assembly, the relay is located underneath the plastic housing below the headlight You can cut a small hole in the housing to gain access to the relay

∙ 14y agobest easiest way is pull ft bumper cover , under right headlight you will see module , long 1/4 inch extension and swivel 8 mm socket will take care off it.

I have a 2003 Cherokee Laredo so this awnser makes no sense at all. Do you have a GRAND Cherokee Laredo? Those are still being made. They are not the same as the Cherokee.
