How do you reset the change oil light on a 1998 Chevy Silverado extended cab?

hi there you can reset the oil light by turning the key on and engine off, and fully press the gas pedal 3 times in 5 seconds then start the truck and the oil light should flash, if it dont work try it all over again or look in your owners manual under reset oil light.
instead of turning on ignition and pressing gas pedal three times try turning on ignition and pressing the brake pedal three times it worked on my 2001 silverado !
