I think the phrase 'take care' just means have a good day. It's just like, a blessing.
Well it depends on how good you take care of it. If you take very good care of it then it will die at the age of about a normal age of death. If you don't take care of it then it will die on the day that it needs medicine or food. It can even die when the room is filled with poo.
french lops are very easy to take care of they are very kind and sweet, they just need to be brushed sometimes and feed twice a day and you have to check their water every other day,but hope that helps!:D
