It means "xie xie"
It depends - in Cantonese, it's "doh jhe"

Mandarin is "mm goy"

Obviously, I'm writing as it sounds to western ears, not in proper Chinese characters.

'Thank you' in Mandarin is 謝謝 or xie xie in pinyin (pronounced 'sheh sheh').

"Xie xie", that is 4th tone and neutral, for "thanks", or xie xie ni (4th, neutral and 3rd) for "thank you"

There are several Chinese dialects and within each one there are multiple ways to say thank you. Here is a chart six major dialects:
Cantonese
