What would you like to do?
You either enter a street address or city name into the search panel to fly there or double click on map to zoom into a new area. You can also enter the latitude/longitude coordinates. If you don't have a particular place to see then you can browse popular places in a number of Google Earth galleries.

No. The images in Google Earth were all taken by satellites, so there is not that level of detail. Actually you can you have to go to latitude 45° 7'22.31"N and longitude 1…23° 6'48.24"W you can't see faces but its pretty clear. Answer #2 If you enter 'Street View' in Google Earth or Google Maps then you can see people but the faces should be blurred for privacy reasons. Google uses advanced blurring algorithms to identify faces and blur just the faces (as well as license plates) in the photograph.

You can download and use the free version of Google Earth as long as you can agree to Google's terms of service. Google also provides a professional/business-upgrade versio…n called Google Earth Pro (or GE Pro) that provides advanced features. You can download the free trial-version of GE Pro and use for 7-days. After that you must pay an annual subscription fee ($399 USD) to continue using it but you can always use the free version. Many people think if you get the paid version you get better imagery, but that is not the case since both GE Pro and free version use the same imagery database. GE Pro has some additional layers and other advanced features for the business user, but these may or may not be useful to a casual user.

Yes, you can download Google Earth for free. There is also a professional version of Google Earth called Google Earth Pro for business users. That version has some new feat…ures (e.g., better printing, advanced import support, etc.) but uses the same imagery so it's generally not worth the annual cost for the casual user.

From the aerial or satellite imagery in Google Earth you can rarely make out people. Sometimes you make out a person's outline, but often it's blurry -- resolution is not high… enough. However, if you enter 'Street View' in Google Earth or Google Maps you can see people. In fact, the resolution is so clear that the faces are purposely blurred for privacy reasons. Google uses advanced blurring algorithms to identify faces and blur just the faces (as well as license plates) in the photograph to prevent identification.
Google provides a number of ways to share places. One way is the "Share" menu option in Google Earth which allows you to share your places with the Google Earth Community. …You can right-mouse click on a placemark or folder then select "Share with Google Earth Community". Another way is Google's Map Maker which allows you to make edits to the map, move placemarks, add/changes labels, etc. and if those changes are accepted, your edits/changes will eventually be reflected in Google Earth and Google Maps. Note that Map Maker is not available in all areas and countries. See related links below for more detail.
