It would be best to get permission for a booth in a location with high foot traffic. Go during a busy time, like a Saturday morning. Parades, town events, or even in front of grocery stores can all be busy. Be social, but be polite. Ask people going by if they would like to buy a box, but be sure to use good manners.

You can also decorate your table. When we used to have a table, we built a PVC frame, and we hung colorful banners off of it. We used a bright tablecloth and streamer. The few minutes it took to decorate always made a huge difference, because it caught people's eye.

Be sure to keep all of your cookie varieties out where they can be seen. Know your product. When someone asks you which ones are gluten free, sugar free, or have peanut butter, be sure to know!
