How do you make eyebrow wax at home?

its called body sugaring:

Ingredients

* 1 cup sugar

* Half a lemon for the juice

* 1/4 cup honey

* A little bit of Molasses if you have any like a drizzle

* Cornstarch (to powder with for tautness making it more effective)

* Something to spread the mixture with like a tongue depressor, popsicle stick, cheese spreader or spatula.

* Cotton fabric (any old thing you can find or buy some strips at a store)

Mix lemon, sugar, and honey in a bowl. Microwave on high for about 2-3 minutes, until it bubbles into a smooth consistency. I find this a lot simpler then turning on the stove, but it would be safer if you watched over the heat on the stove. If you use the stove use LOW heat. Now move away from the mixture and go do something while it cools a little down so you can touch it safely. A little bit warmer though is better though to use. Microwave it for 20 seconds if you find the need to. The NADS commercial said re heating isn't necessary, but it's no big deal doing so and I find it is necessary as all sugaring products do need just a little heating.

Make sure your legs or where ever you wish to place it is clean and dry. Then dust area with cornstarch so it's more effective as it draws out oil. Spread a thin layer on your leg. Cover with a strip of fabric, and rubbing the strip the opposite way of hair growth, about 3 times.

Grab the fabric end and pull it off very quickly against the direction of the hair growth or the other way if you wish. It will hurt, but after awhile it's a lot less painful. I'm sure you're strong enough to withstand pain. Reheat the mix if it gets too hard to spread. This stores for a long time. I just use a vitamin E face cream container that's plastic since that's fairly big which costs only a buck at the dollar store. Just make sure it's clean and oil free. You could also use a glass jar as well.

okay first i am saying this by the way i do mine.

1. First have a shape of the way you would like your eyebrows to look like when completed.

2.pluck the hairs of your eyebrow that is closer to the nose to begin and progressivly make your way to the end of the brow.

3.to prevent pain stretch the skin, kinda as if u just had a facelift (doesnt work for some people).

4.Look at both your eyebrows and compare them and if they are not the same keep on pluckin

OR U CAN: 1. wet ur eyebrows w/ warm water.(less painful) 2.use eye liner 2 make the shape u want

3.pluck outside of the shape u made(DON'T stretch ur skin.It will get saggy when u r older)

4.dry eyebrows and put on lotion so eyebrows won't B-come reddish

I assume you are a girl who wants to make herself attractive and doesn't like her eyebrows. Well don't shave all of your eyebrows, it's weird. You'd better swipe off only the excess eyebrow hair to define their shape. However start by wetting your eyebrows, then use a thin coat of conditioner all over them. Begin by gliding your razor between the two eyebrow to cancel an eventual unibrow. The space between the eyebrows must be one other eyebrow down to 3/4 of them. The size of a razor hardly exceed this size, then if the inner ends of your get shaved off it's all right: they were too close each other. Now the hard part, shaving the rest of your eyebrow in a nice tapered outer tail which describe a good arch. Tend your eyebrows up and shave below them diagonally up curving starting at near the first third of the remaining eyebrow from the inner corner up to the eyebrow tail. Acording to their natural shape or thickness you may want their tail to descend at a given point. If this weren't feasible, they may be more suited for an upward tapering. Don't make them too thin and shave off some stray hairs above them. Enjoy your new eyebrows.

Using tweezers give a sharp tug on the unwanted hairs.

Always pull the lower hairs, rather than the higher ones, to open the eye area.

Pull in the direction of the growth of the hair, or the direction you wish it to grow, away from the root.
