Best Answer

by putting the glue on the wood and have both woods make contact

ANS 2 - Super glue is far from effective on wood. Much better to glue any wood with a PVA type, white glue, yellow glue etc.

The most common adhesive for wood is wood glue. Nails and screws are also popular. Also Chewing Gum has been known to work temporarily. You can also shape the wood into a mortise and tenon and secure it with a pin.

PVA is good for joining wood. It comes as white glue and yellow glue. Yellow is more tenacious, but both types should be clamped for the best joints.
