I'm pretty good at these kinds of things. This advice is coming from a girl
:-). I would tell him that you love (or like) him a lot, but you have your own limit of how much you can take. Just tell him to tone it down a bit. He'll understand if you tell him nicely and use respect.

Really, she is just not where you are in the relationship in terms of being ready to commit to you. Give her the space, letting her know that if you are still available when she is ready, you will get back with her. Then, move on. Date, and do things that interest you--do not wait for her.

Make no promises and be sure you understand that if you decide to go down this road alone then he can do the same thing to you.
