Even so i don't see why an ex-partner should know anything about your future life, this will only mean that you are still engaged in o get back together a relationship with your ex.

Tell your ex in a way that addresses their current situation.
If you have children together, address what's best for the kids and their relationships with the original parents.
If you own a house together, discuss the financial arrangements.
If you are still communicating through lawyers, ask your lawyer.
If they still want you to get back together, tell them gently, but firmly that you are getting married on a certain date. Do not gloat. Do not explain why. Have a witness overhear you so your ex can't come back and accuse you of things that aren't true. Do not invite them to the wedding.
If they do not have a current link with you, don't tell them anything. It's none of their business.
