No they are different models. You will have to use the same model soft too.

Use the adjustment bar between the top bows
The soft top of the 300SL ( W129) is operated by a control unit, not by relays. If you want a can tray find a localization picture of the control unit for the soft top
Same as the soft top. You use the sperate handle, (check the glove boxes), that slides into the slot on the 2 round disks that rotate and either tighten or loosens the front of it. The disks have a screw like mechanisim with a prong that aligns it.
The Idle Air Control valve is fastened to the top of the throttle body with 2 bolts that have an 8mm head. Tighten them clockwise.
I have mercedes sl 129 soft top and roll bars not working .my friend contuct the booster on 24v not 12v by mistake , and he told me he saw a smoke near the battrey but not fuses.what do you thing?
you don't want to try this yourself. its hard enough for professionals to install a 129 soft top properly, and if you've never installed a canvas top before, they are a nightmare...trust me on that. These tops also have an inner liner. There is far too much intricate concerened areas to do this yourself. And at the end, you'll probably ruin the new soft top, and never get it installed properly...and for the $200.00 it will most likely cost you, it's worth it.
no
It is the Mercedes Mclaren SLR, not the McLaren Mercedes SLR. However, the top speed is 208-209mph (Miles per hour).

In most cases your alternator will have two bolts, one on top and one on botom, loosen them both just a bit. The top one will need to be a bit loose than the bottom. Then you will notice that the bracket for the top bolt has a slot in it that the bolt goes through, grab the top of the alternator and pull it slowly away from the engine so the bolt slides further in the slot and the belt becomes tighter, then tighten the top bolt, and then the bottom one. there, you are done. Just make sure the belt is not too awfully tight, just so if you push down on the belt it moves a bit or sags with the pressure.
