If it be camping or being in the wilderness in the cold, prepare for every possible problem that could happen before you go out there. Think of all the bad things that could happen when out in the cold, and away from civilization. An example would be a satellite phone a disaster blanket proper clothing for the cold and extra clothing too that would keep you warm even if you were to get wet. To make a long story short, prepare for the worst ahead of time, and be at least over prepared rather than scratching your head when it's too late. I should of done this I could of done that with your final minutes to live. Have a plan from the beginning with plenty of fire power to keep you alive, and you'll be alright.
