1. Click Start -> Run and type appwiz.cpl in the Run box.
2. Sort the installed programs list by name and select "Windows Live Essentials". Click Uninstall / Change.
3. Select the Live Programs that you want to remove from your system and choose Continue.
The only limitation is that you cannot remove Photo Gallery unless you install Windows Live Movie Maker since the latter is dependent on Photo Gallery.
