∙ 7y agoYou just need a Windows 7 DVD and the Windows Easy Transfer wizard as you cannot upgrade directly from Windows XP to Windows 7. A simple Google search will help you download Windows Easy Transfer Wizard.

∙ 9y agoWindows 8 and Ubuntu are two totally different operating systems. Assuming you want to replace Ubuntu with Windows 8, you would need to buy a Windows 8 installation CD, boot it and install Windows 8 from there.

∙ 8y agoUpgrading from Windows 8 or 8.1 to Windows 10 is a very simple task with only a few steps. If you check in the bottom right hand of your taskbar there should be a little Windows icon that when you click on it you get presented with a screen offering to upgrade to Windows 10 for free. If that is not there you can click start and open your control panel. In there on the front will be the upgrade option.
