What would you like to do?
I hope you are referring to the idli stand. If you have the idli batter with you, here's what you have to do: 1. Take a pressure cooker; pour some water in it. 2. Apply a drop of oil with your finger on all of the idli moulds...just to prevent it from sticking. 3. Pour the batter in the mould and stack the stand one above the other. 4. Place it in the pressure cooker...make sure that the lower level of the batter is not submerged under water. 5. Close the pressure cooker....BUT DO NOT PLACE THE WHISTLE. Place it on a gas stove and steam for about 20 min.

Add equal quantities of rice and water, then switch it on. If it has a button which switches from cook to warm then it should switch itself to warm when it is finished. It can… be left at warm for an hour or so depending on your cooker.
t omake food please, can you explain in more detail?
It provides faster cooking of foods. The increased pressure and holding that higher pressure allows the water to rise to a higher temperature before biling out as …steam thus cooking faster. The same principle is used in automobile radiators to pressurized them and allow higher water temperatures without boiling out the water as steam.
Solar cookers come in different forms based how they absorb the sun's rays. Some of the most popular types of solar ovens are solar concentrating ovens, solar reflective ovens…, and solar absorption ovens. Each provides a reliable, low-cost solution for cooking so you can keep the heat out of the kitchen. Solar cookers are great for camping trips or outdoor cooking where electricity and fuel are far out of reach. If you're worried about losing cooking power when the sun retreats behind the clouds, some companies manufacture hybrid solar ovens that can be plugged into an electrical outlet. In the absence of sun, an electrically powered infrared heat source keeps the internal chamber at the proper cooking temperature.
ADVANTAGES OF USING A PRESSURE COOKER: 1)Foods cook much faster with pressure cooking than with other methods. Due to the shorter cooking time, vitamins are preserved relative…ly well during pressure cooking. 2)Cooking food in pressure cookers requires much less water than conventional boiling, so food can be ready sooner. 3)Less energy is required than that of boiling, steaming, or oven cooking. 4)Pressure cookers can use much less liquid than the amount required for boiling or steaming in an ordinary saucepan. 5)Food is cooked at a temperature above the normal boiling point of water which kills most micro-organisms.
It is used the same as most any other pressure cooker. Cooking time for different food can be found with a simple search online. The Imusa cooker i have didn't come with a sma…ll cooking rack which is kind of a bummer so the food must be placed in the liquid. But for a mid meatloaf you add about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of water, lock the lid let the pressure build and cook. Once the pressure valve on the top starts to move it takes about 20 to 25 minutes for a 2.5 to 3 lb meatloaf. Other foods have different cooking times, but on average you can figure about 50 percent of the time it would take to cook the same food item in a tradional oven. home cookers use methane supplied in gas form. portable stoves can use ethane, propane or, most commonly, butane which is stored in liquid form inside the canisters
A reflective one.
The desert Indians would make a clay vessel and load it then seal it with clay. It would bake in the sun all day. Now there are solar cookers the use a parabolic dish to… concentrate the sun on a cooking rack.
something that will absorb heat.
I think propane is used for cooking in barbeques but some stoves use propane too.
Ive not a darn clue
Natural gas or electric=stoves Propane or charcoal=BBQ.
Not only cheaper, but safer. Even though you can make more things on the gas cooker.
