When an individual has different amounts of melanin in each of their irises, their eyes are different colors.

or is sometimes if they have a twin if the opposite sex or gender then that will cause your child to have different color eyes.

That kind of eye would usually be described as hazel.

I don't know what it's called, but I think that's incorrect. Isn't hazel light brown like a Hazel nut?

It doesn't mean anything bad. It just means the pigmentation in your eyes is different. Most people's eyes vary in colir slightly.
