Add a fountain, water fall or a spitter to cascade the water into the pond. Remember, plants only add oxygen during the day in the presence of sunlight. ∙ 12y agoTry plants. Plants do photosynthesis so it should help your aquarium. JUst make sure you have enough light for the plants to work well. The pump is still much better though.
