To my understanding, on end of the freezer blows air, quite rapidly, towards the other end which acts like a "vacuum". This is called an "air curtain" and acts just as a door would, keeping cold in and heat out.
Depends what part of the freezer you are gluing.
Any freezer needs to be kept closed as much as possible if you wish for it to remain cold. However a chest freezer will not warm up as fast as an upright freezer. This is because the cold air in the freezer is heavier than the air outside of the freezer. When you open an upright freezer the cold air "falls" out, this can't happen with a chest freezer.
Not Untill 2 yrs of it being open
The Freezer.
Refrigeration works by drawing heat away from the unit. It does this through a process of evaporation.
because most freezer that you can open from the top usually have a thermometre inside some way...
The room will cool if you open the freezer and leave it open.
I'm guessing it's because cold sinks and if it's opened from the top, the least cold will escape.
My freezer is at the bottom. The freezer being at the top isn't universal, it was just a common design for a time.
Because cold air rises, very little cold air escapes when you open the top-mounted door of a chest freezer, making it the most efficient style of freezers.

No, no today we no have oven on a freezer
Open the freezer and press the light button that is pressed when you close the freezer. WHen the freezer light is off, you can use the water. Sorry, I havnt tried with ice :(
If you don't want the freezer to get smelly or moldy the lid should be propped open a little. If you can still fit the fridge on, then fine. However do NOT store a fridge lying down - only in it's normal orientation, or you will have compressor problems when using it again.
what may be causing my freezer to work but my refrigerator not to work
you need the temperature in a freezer to be colder that its' surrounding area for it to work properly
