you can filter the sea water to get rid of the sand. Then you boil the sea water and the salt will turn to crystals. Then filter the water again and then you don't have sand or salt in the water.

sure, heat it up and condence the vapour and you get pure water Yes. Without the assistance of man, it can freeze and only the water is present. The other way is from osmosis through layers of ground or sand that will filter out the salt.

When you boil salt water, the salt will be left behind as a solid. You can collect the water by distillation. For example, if you boil the salt water in a pot with a lid, and leave the lid at an angle, the evaporated water will collect there and fall off - so you can collect it.

Desalination is a process that removes some of the salt from water - making sea water drinkable.
