Too complex to say as the dynamics of each human relationship are unique, but generally the best technique is to find other people to associate with. I'm not a victim-blamer, but generally sociopaths stick around because their victims are, inadvertantly, reinforcing their behaviour- so stop making it fun for the sociopath.
Don't be overtly aggressive, doing so could lead to you getting hurt. Just be boring and dull in the sociopath's company, they crave stimulation and you will soon see less and less of them as they seek their thrills elsewhere. If every time you see them you are no fun to be around and have nothing to offer them then they will disappear.
