Your gains weight through "calories". If you are going to be on a diet, you should stick to a 1200 - 1500 calorie diet and daily exercises. Though currently I'm on the heavier side, I'm eating right with fruits, drinking plenty of water, eggs for breakfast and milk when I wake up. I also do daily exercises; run approximately 1 - 1&1/2 miles, one hundred crunches, and 75 jumping jacks. I haven't felt this good in a long time. You should also try and boost your metabolism. By doing this your body releases more excrements, you lose about 500 calories every time you poop, the more you poop the more weight you lose. You can boost your metabolism by drinking 6-8 glasses or 3-4 bottles of water a day. Cut down on sodas.
