Obviously, being a Christian is not all church-orientated but church is considered very important as it is mentioned in the Bible. The Bible is the 'manual' of how Christians should live and act so this is a reason why Christians attend church but back to your question, The church is a way to share your opinions of your faith as a collective. Christianity is a religion which is about togetherness but has it individual moments and also some Christians just can't be bothered to pray and worship God but only ask him for things and never say thanks unto God but going to church once a week can change this as Christianity is an inspirational religion and may change how such a person perceives and pursues their faith.
