Natural selection will be the catalyst of evolution. The small mutations passed on through generations are more dominant and occur directly correlated with exaggerated physiologically. If that mutations gives the deer an advantage to thrive in a particular environment than it will be more Fit and therefore dominant.

How does population of Tiger or any animal affect environment?

Say that the Bengal tiger, which lives in the rainforest, became extinct: because it is at the top of the food chain, no animals would die because that energy source is gone. However, animals that the tiger eat such as a deer, would become overpopulated, or there would be too many of them due to the fact that their main predator is gone. Because there are more deer now, the grass that the deer eats goes away faster, eventually causing the deer to die from starvation. It goes on and on because it is a chain reaction, like dominoes. If you take one thing away, everything else starts to fall apart. This is why we need to make sure endangered animals don't go extinct, because it will effect their ecosystem in a much greater way then we think.

Why do deer culling?

Deer culling is only done if there is a huge population of deer, a population that threatens natural vegetation and habitat because there are too many mouths to feed that a natural environment can hold or tolerate. When this occurs, hunters are allowed to shoot a certain number of deer, or enough so that the population is diminished enough that they are considered under control.
