The tonsils are are multiple aggregations of a large lymphatic nodules that are places in a thick mucous filled membrane. the tonsils are found in a ring junction of the oral cavity and the pharynx.

The tonsils are used to fight of foreign bacteria, this is done by the tonsils producing lymphocytes and antibodies.
