You can figure this closer if you look up the actual numbers. The diameter of the Sun changes slightly over time. But the amazing thing is that the Moon is 30X Earth diameters from the Earth. This is easy to see by using a regulation Basketball (Earth) and a tennis ball (Moon) as models. The Moon is 7.2 meters from the Earth in this scale model.
