While there are varying sects of Christianity resulting in varying opinions on its nature, research shows that Christian Science is essentially "primitive Christianity" in that it emphasizes reliance on God for physical healing and moral regeneration as did Christ, Jesus and his followers for hundreds of years after the resurrection.

One might say that the word science is present simply to illustrate that the teachings of Christ, Jesus and his healing practice are as provable today as they were in his own time, because based on the divine law of God (a science). "1) As adherents of Truth, we take the inspired Word of the Bible as our sufficient guide to eternal Life.

The word science in "Christian Science" identifies what this so called Christianity is based upon. Our Father never used the word science in all of his writings, its a word joined at the hip with the doctrine of the Philosopha.
