The accomplishment of his ministry in bearing witness to the truth required more of Jesus than merely talking, preaching, and teaching.

To uphold the truth of his Father's prophetic word and promises, Jesus had to live in such a way as to make that truth become reality, fulfilling it by what he said and did, how he lived, and how he died. Thus, he had to be the truth, in effect, the embodiment of the truth, as he himself said he was.-Joh 14:6. Jesus also expelled demons, healed the sick and raised the dead. This was a preview of the powerful works he will accomplish for mankind under God's Kingdom where we will have the opportunity of everlasting life. Death will be no more neither will there be pain or crying or suffering, the former things will be brought to nothing.

What does Jesus teach people?

By word and deed Jesus showed the world how to live so as to achieve eternal life with Him. From the gospels He told us the two most important things in life should be to love God with our whole heart and soul and then to love others as we do ourselves, a concept that seems simple in theory yet can be difficult at times to live it. And it follows that if we love God as we should we will obey His laws, the commandments.

How old was Jesus when he was betrayed?

A:In an apparently artificial structure, Mark's Gospel gives us the chronology of the last twenty four hours in the life of Jesus, breaking them up into eight segments each of exactly three hours, and the later gospels follow this pattern more or less faithfully. After having a Passover meal, which traditionally took three hours and was followed by a hymn, Jesus went out to the Garden of Gethsemene at just 9 pm. He went to pray and, when he returned, found the disciples asleep and asked, "Could you not watch one hour?" Jesus returned to the disciples three times. It was now midnight, the darkest hour and time for the darkest deed, his betrayal by Judas. Jesus had been in the garden for exactly three hours.
