In a cemetery if they're dead. Hopefully not at all if they're alive.
There are secular (often municipal) cemeteries which do not differentiate on faith baed preferences. Even military cemeteries have specific "Atheist" symbols for head stones. Many probably would opt for cremation as burial is pointless, creates pollution and takes up land. These would opt for cremation followed by dispersal. many might offer their bodies for scientific study prior to cremation.
A body of anyone is chosen to be buried as bescribe by them. They have access to all same places as another religion would. Not allowing someone to use a cemetery for example, would be descrimination. Since WW2 the general public does not discriminate against religion anymore.
Any public or nonsectarian cemetery that has room is open to atheists. Some atheists may prefer cremation to burial with the ashes scattered over an area they were fond of in life.
Burial may not be required if the body is given to science and the leftovers disposed of as lab waste. There is also a "corpse farm" in the southern US where bodies are allowed to decompose in a variety of situations to help forensic investigators learn about the timing and processes of decomposition and succession of insects.
For the theatrically inclined there are traveling shows of plasticized bodies touring the world that may require exhibits.
In the ground, a mauseleum, crypt. or some can be buried at sea, or even cremated.
No, unless you raise them to be athiest.
No. The definition of an Atheist is the position of rejection of ALL god claims. Therefore, an Atheist would have no god or gods
Yes
An atheist would have no interest in being a preacher. It doesn't make sense for one to become a preacher. If someone who claims to be an atheist, becomes a preacher, then they weren't an atheist.
no, but i would.
If a person is environmentally conscious, they can have a positive impact. Atheism has nothing to do with the question.
I doubt if a conversion from Christian to atheist would really happen this fast. An atheist who is firm in his or her beliefs (or disbeliefs) would have thought the issues through and come to the considered view that there is no God. This takes more than five minutes.
According to the ancient writer Plutarch, Octavian gave Cleopatra a lavish funeral and her servants were also buried with honor. This would mean that they were buried with her.According to the ancient writer Plutarch, Octavian gave Cleopatra a lavish funeral and her servants were also buried with honor. Of course not! Why would you think that?
Why would it vary between theist and atheist? Obviously, there's no much point asking how church is going.
Agnostic Atheist
