Hey there, my understanding is I think forgery is somewhat an original item/thing that's altered or tampered with to create a new item/thing. Piracy is basically copying something perfectly onto another meduim. :oD
To expand on this: with forgery, there is the implication that you are manufacturing something of existing significant (usually) monetary value, with the itnention of capitalising from the trading or other usage of that item. Piracy has more implications to theft of existing material through reproduction without prior consent from the owner of that material.
Simulated forgery is when you copy the handwriting of someone else in order to commit forgery. It is different from other types of forgery where you trace someone handwriting.
Piracy on the high seas is different today than it was in the 1600s.
Piracy, being illegal, is already "banned." If piracy were not illegal, it would be no different from any other form of downloading or obtaining "free" items.
there are two movies you need to see. Pirates of the Caribbean is one and the other would be hackers.
It depends on what state you committed the forgery in. Different states have different statutes of limitation, and some have no limitations at all.
Piracy and privacy are two different terms with two different meanings. Let say if you want to keep any thing secret , it is called privacy. If you are copying files that have copyrights or are paid , it is called piracy.
