Self injury can be done in many ways. I don't want to encourage anyone or in anyway promote it, but; a person who self injures might cut themselves [using practically anything - razors, blades, knives, safety pins, compasses, broken glass], burn themselves [with matches, lighters, or via friction, like eraser burn], punch themselves or walls, in order to break bones or cause bruises.
Its not easy to start, and definately not easy to quit.
Please don't ever get to that stage - find some one you can trust, and remember someone out there really cares for you.
