The Sperm Whale can hold it's breath much longer than any whale. It dives down to bottom of the ocean where it is dark and damp. It is able to catch and eat giant squid which is really impressive for a whale! The Sperm Whale has a huge head and is the biggest toothed whale in the world! It also has the biggest brain - it isn't as smart as you think though!

Sperm whales have 70 teeth, depending on their age.
No. They're are too big to.
The sperm whale is a toothed whale. The sperm whale could be the biggest animal in in existence that has teeth. It has big teeth (in it's lower jaw) to catch and eat large prey, such as the giant squid. Baleen is not a tooth, but, is a flexible plate, and baleen whales have many of them in the front of the mouths. Baleen whales, such as the blue whale, eat very small animals such as plankton by taking large amounts of water into their mouths. The whales then strain the water through their baleen, which traps the plankton inside, which are then swallowed. Whalers who caught sperm whales in the past, would sometimes take the large teeth and make drawings on them.
Antarctica is a continent. Sperm whales are marine mammals. You can find male sperm whales in ice-free polar waters, but the females and offspring prefer tropical water. Around Antarctica, this would be in the Southern Ocean during periods of no ice.
Fish use gills, which extracts oxygen from the water. Amphibians and whales breath oxygen, whales can hold their breath for hours at a time, explaining how sperm whales can hunt at great depths for periods of time.
YOU DONT NEED TO HELP SPERM WHALES!!!I LIKE SQUID AND SQUID ABSOLUTELY HATE SPERM WHALES BECUASE THE WHALES EAT THE SQUID!!!:( :( :( :(
because whales live in water so whales just off the shore of dominca
Killer Whale - Killer whales usually travel in larger groups and they are a lot faster and more agile. Sperm whales also aren't used to groups of animals attacking them because they are generally deep in the sea where they have no predators and there aren't many animals. Also, killer whales have better eye sight because they use it more while sperm whales are usually in pitch black water where they rely completely on echolocation. Calves and small female groups are at risk, male bull sperm whales are not: The bull sperm whale is much bigger than a killer whale. The bull can grow up-to 65ft and way over 60 tons, have over 40 large 't-rex' style teeth on their bottom jaw, and can become incredibly aggressive when threatened. Their massive head act as the perfect battering rams, and their huge tail flukes can decimate a pod of orcas. Hence orcas rarely engage combat with large bulls sperm whales, as there are plenty of other fish in the sea: ie lower risk, higher reward prey items around
Everybody. Or they die. One has to be crazy to drink water as Fish do some really nasty stuff in it and FORGETABOUTIT when it comes to whales as this is why sea water is salty from the sperm whales don't you know 55 gallons a pop
sperm whales have been known to hold their breath for more than an hour.
Orcas - killer whales don't Breathe under water. They are mammals and Breathe air with lungs. They hold their breath when diving.
