First the tree is cut down and then it is transported too the lumber factory where it is cut into the necessary amount of pieces. It goes into the factory and they cut it into the correct shapes and then they glace it and they send it out too where the specific lumber is needed.

∙ 12y agotrees are turned into finished wood or planks by conversion there are three types of conversion through and through, tangential and quarter sawing. tangential is best but through and through is the cheapest and to my knowledge quarter sawing is not as good as tangential except when cutting oak in which case you will get a silver grain this silver grain only applies to oak and i am not sure why there is a silver grain formed i just know that there is
