As with many metals, pure zinc can be prepared from an ore by one of two methods. First, the ore can be roasted (heated in air). Roasting converts the ore to a compound of zinc and oxygen, zinc oxide (ZnO). The compound can then be heated with charcoal (pure carbon ). The carbon takes the oxygen away from the zinc, leaving the pure metal
The other method is to pass an electric current through a compound of zinc. The electric current causes the compound to break apart. Pure zinc metal is produced.
Zinc is extracted from its ore by calcination to remove the sulphur converting zinc to an oxide. The next step is to smelt the particular oxide with carbon where it is combined with oxygen to form a gas. Finally, the deoxidised metal distils in vapour and is then precipitated again into the solid form after extraction
zinc is extracted from zinc ore named zinc blende (ZnS)
step 1
zinc ore is concentrated by the process named froth floation to about 55%
step 2
concentrated ore is roasted in the presence of air to convert the ore into zinc oxideZnS + O2 which gives ZnO + SO2sulphur dioxide is a useful byproduct which is used in the manufacture of sulphuric acid.
step 3
zinc oxide is reduced to zinc in the furnace by coke
ZnO + C which gives Zn + CO2
Oysters have a high amount of zinc so eating a lot of them is good but most animal meat contains zinc just not at a high level.
Zinc oxide can be reduced using carbon or coke it cannot be reduced by hydrogen though.
Zinc is extracted from its ores by smelting with carbon in a blast furnace. Some ores need prior treatment.
I need to know this too! help please?
Since gold binds with zinc, you would have to chemically extract the gold out with aqua regis.
zinc and your partial
Metals are extracted from ores. An ore is a rock that contains enough of a mineral (metal compound) for the metal to be extracted from it. Most metals are extracted from an ore by reduction with carbon or by electrolysis.
as the name suggests, you would need zinc.
zinc is more reactive than tin and so the food would be continated as the zinc would react with the food and would taste disgusting.
to extract zinc from its mineral you can heat it with carbon

you use the smelting stirring furnance
You pick up the zinc and get a magnet and hang it over the bottom dross!!! You pick up the zinc and get a magnet and hang it over the bottom dross!!!
They would have a metallic bond.

There are many things one could do with catnip extract. One would be able to give the extract to their cat or place the extract on one of the cat's toys.
That would be zinc oxide.

It would be more correct to say that Zinc is an element
