Anytime after a tenant has missed their rent payment, is a good time to send a letter for rent payment. It is all up to the landlord as to when a good time is. Personally, I would suggest waiting two weeks time to give the tenant enough time to gather the money if they have it to give to you late, and if not within those first two weeks, then send them a late payment letter.
Most negative tradelines due to missed payments will have an impact for about 24 months. If the missed payments are not caught up (e.g., 60 days late, 90 days late, etc.) the impact may last as long as 36 months.
I will forward you copies of hardship letter samples. I do this for a living and I have helped clients put their hardship into a letter format as long as they know and can tell me what their harship is. Glena
Always try to pay off the full amount - you'll pay out a lot less in the long run. You should budget for your purchases even when you use a credit card.
You should not be sent to collections if you are making monthly payments. Some companies have their own "polocies" on how much your payment needs to be in order to keep from collections but the law says that you can pay what ever you want as long as you don't sign a payment contract.
A balloon payment is a large, lump sum payment made either at specific intervals, or more commonly, at the end of a long-term balloon loan
Yes a rent payment letter can be used in a court of law as long as it is a valid rent payment letter. This letter must be signed by the appropriate people to be valid.
A letter demanding long outstanding dues should delineate when the debt was incurred and the agreed payment schedule that has not been met. The benefits of the membership can also be listed. It may be beneficial to mention that legal action is the next step.
Legally, your car could be reposessed after one missed payment. The terms of your contract cover default. Most will not repo your car after just one missed payment, but they could. I would certainly suggest attempting to work something out with the bank.
aarons can repo as soon as you have missed your first payment as long as u give up the product if u dont nothing really they can do about it

Depending on the circumstances, your credit worthiness could be reduced drastically to the point where you may be denied any kind of loan at any percentage rate. Your credit rating will remain affected by this repossession anywhere for the next 7 to 15 years. It only takes one single missed payment to totally screw up one's credit rating, even if you have faithfully paid everything on time for the last 45 years and never missed a payment ... that one late or missed payment messed that entire long history.
You should use a backup method (condoms only) for the next 2 weeks.
It depends almost entirely on who owns the lien and what state you're in. Credit lots tend to try to move quickly on them vs. local banks might not want to hassle with it. In general the only thing required is a letter of intent to repossess, whether you respond or not is irrelevant.
My phone bill was due on the 12th, and didn't get off until the 1st of the next month, so about 2/3 weeks!
