I believe this idea came from the French but I could be wrong. If you eat slow instead of trying to rush through your dinner, you will not eat as much and not fell as hungry. Take only three bites then set your silverware down and wait to take more bites. Let the food settle to your stomach. It takes seven minutes for food to get to the stomach. That is why people feel bloated after meals, because all the food is still in the throat. If you wait between bites it allows the food to go down the throat smoothly instead of all at once. Doing this will also not make you feel as hungry between meals.

Another reason I've heard why people become hungry is because they are bored and eating is something they like to do. When you feel hungry try to find an activity to do instead of eat. Eat a full course breakfast, a reasonable lunch, and a smaller dinner. If you do not eat after 6pm it will also help you to lose weight while you sleep. Just fight the urge to have a midnight snack. If you cannot handle the temptation, then be sure to snack on something healthy (fruits and veggies are great).

This is a therory I think I learned in science class years ago. Your stomach is only as big as your fist. Your stomach holds food for 4 hours. Don't eat too much food that will overfill your stomach and don't eat meals closer than four hours apart.

If you try these ideas and just stick with it your stomach will slowly not feel as hungry. You will notice after a while that you will not eat as much at every meal because you will not feel as hungry.

You way 130 and you am a gymnast and a cheerleader you feel a lot bigger than the other girls You are 13 and you want to starve yourself thin but you dont want to always feel hungry?

You should never srtive to lose weight by starving yourself. If you feel like you must be thinner, do it through a healthy diet and with exercise (which you clearly already do with all of those sports). Staring is a form on an eating disorder known as anorexia. Anorexia is very dangerous and can often result in death.

What should you do if you are always hungry but you never finish your meal?

firstly, try not to go on diets because you cut down on food, so the fat from the food you do eat is stored as fat on your body so you often come out worse than you used to be. always eat whenever you are hungry, instead of starving yourself until the 'right' time to eat. if you never finish your meal, this shows you are a healthy eater because you know when to stop but if you are still hungry, try to eat some more. another reason you could always feel hungry is because you are probably just thirsty! people who are dehydrated often feel hunger instead of thirst, so if you do feel hungry i suggest drinking a glass of water. twenty minutes later, if you still feel hungry, then eat because this will show you that you are not dehydrated but just hungry. :) if you need more help ask your doctor or someone experienced in this type of stuff hope this helped! :)

Is it healthy to starve yourself for a day?

If you're generally healthy, starving yourself for one full day probably won't hurt you. Certain religious holidays, such as the Jewish Yom Kippur, require healthy adults to fast for a 24- to 30-hour period. But you will feel hungry, and will probably overeat afterward. So if you're doing it as a quick way to lose some weight, the answer is no.

How do you keep the fact that you're starving yourself a secret from your friends and family?

You don't. For obvious reasons it isn't healthy - and people will eventually notice. Ask yourself why are you starving yourself? What is bothering you so much that makes you do it? Find the root of the problem and you won't have to starve yourself. ____________ I blame that I don't feel well. I also wear baggy clothes. :) And also you can say you had a sandwich before or something... :)
