We can not give medical advice. You should discuss that issue with the physician who is treating your concussion. In NO event should you drink during the first week after any concussive head injury.

The NHS guidance is 24 hours, for patients which are assumed to be "moderate drinkers" (e.g normally a glass of wine or two in the evenings). (Clearly, for anyone with alcohol problems or liver problems alcohol consumption should be minimal anyway, so the above guidance does not apply in these situations.)

However... it is possible to anesthetise someone who is drunk, although turning up for surgery whilst drunk is frowned upon (whether you're the patient or the surgeon). Also, there are legal issues associated with the patient being drunk when they sign the consent form for surgery. Which is why it's best to turn up sober.

Is there anythingi need to do before i have gastris bypass surgery?

Typically, before a surgery, you will have a pre-op visit where you will have some tests to determine if your body can endure the surgery. You should have also received paperwork from your surgeon advising you what needs to be done prior to surgery such as fasting, what type of clothing to bring, and how long to be prepared to stay in the hospital.
